ABOUT PRISM

Prism Artworks was born in 1993 in Mineola, New York. It was created to supply the, then, very sacarce market of computer aided design. At that time the latest version of Photoshop 2.0 and Illustrator 3.0 was then released. PageMaker was not an Adobe product. It was Aldus Page Maker. Quark was atop for printing and desktop publishing software. I remember some louzy 3D programs that gave you an aliased still image. Printers? Forget it...but we all tought was nice. My first computer was a PC. It costed me $21K for...wow!!! 80Mb hardrive, 256K RAM and Yes!!!....I got Windows on it.

It has been a long road since I first came out of Graphic Design School...Well, at that time computers were not! Boardwork, markers, guache paint, airbrush, letraset, wax, IBM Composers....they reigned. Tools were the triangles, centered rullers, scale disks, non printing blue pencils. I remember many times I opened text for a layout using pencil and china ink.

Awsome...it made us invent new ways. I enjoyed every step of evolution. Every bit of the old modems, the first e-mail I got, the first web page I designed, all hardcoded...humm, color pallete was a big issue. Then the first CD-ROM and jumping into Flash 2, Dreamweaver 2, Fireworks 2. What a life I have had since.

Prism Artworks moved to Florida in 1996. I have been really buzy since. Jobs after jobs and keeping pace with the newest technologies available in the market...

Our mission has always been keeping that pleasant fire of enthusiam towards every job and respecting the client no matter what size or scope. We have kept true to their public and sometimes helping the client to find his target or niche in the market. Our proposition is very simple but we know it to be effective, so we stick with this simplicity for that at the end your public is the end.
